More than 40 local influential women and community partners joined St. Louis area young mothers enrolled in the Show Me Strong Families (SMSF) program for the annual Women’s Engagement Café entitled: “A Salute to those who Mother.”
The evening included presentations by several local authors of children’s books, including one who is enrolled in the SMSF program, a recognition of Carolyn Losos, PATNC Lifetime Founding Board Member. In addition, an alumni of the program shared how she is paying forward the support she received from Parents as Teachers.
The Engagement Café is designed to bring professional women from across the community together with young mothers to break bread over dinner to engage in conversation about parenting joys and challenges, family well-being and the common threads they share.
