Dr. Sarah Farabi, PhD, RN, is a nurse scientist, Assistant professor at Goldfarb School of Nursing with a courtesy appointment in the School of Public Health at Washington University. With expertise in sleep and metabolic health, Sarah is passionate about developing and testing interventions that target sleep for new parents—particularly during pregnancy and postpartum—to improve long-term health outcomes. As a mother herself, she knows firsthand that sleep isn’t a luxury—it’s a foundation for family wellness. Sarah strives to translate evidence-based sleep strategies into practical, doable habits for every stage of early parenthood, from pregnancy through the busy kindergarten years.
