Parents as Teachers National Center Again Partners with YWCA Head Start for Annual Child Advocacy Day

Convened by Kids Win Missouri, the event brings together champions for children and families from across Missouri each spring. Parents as Teachers National Center has partnered with YWCA Head Start/Early Head Start for many years to sponsor and fill a bus to the state capital — one of many ways Parents as Teachers works with Head Start. Across the country, nearly 125 agencies partner with Parents as Teachers to utilize our curriculum content within the Early Head Start/Head Start model. Parents as Teachers also continues to train hundreds of home and center-based EHS/HS staff and provide them with the Parents as Teachers research-based, evidence-informed curriculum. We are concerned about threats to Head Start’s funding. Join our campaign to ensure that your member of Congress knows the importance of Head Start!
