Jovanna Archuleta

Jovanna Archuleta- born and raised on the Nambé Pueblo reservation and now resides there with her children. Since the start of her career, she has worked with the eight Northern Pueblos in policy planning, education, and advocacy of services. Most recently, she served as the nation’s first Assistant Secretary for Native American Early Education and Care. In her time, she assisted in developing authentic government-to-government relations between the state and tribes to ensure the success and voices of communities were at the table for budget and policy recommendations. In her current role, she is working on strengthening Home Visiting, education and training, and early childhood systems PN-5 in New Mexico.
