Dr. Jamie A. Singleton grew up in rural South Carolina. She graduated from Hampton University with a BS in Math in 2001. She was a paralegal assistant and a math teacher before she attended the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) for medical school.
She graduated from MUSC in 2009 and completed her pediatric residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in 2012. Dr. Singleton has been serving as a pediatrician at Beaufort Jasper Hampton Comprehensive Health Services since August 2012 and as the Chief of Pediatrics there since July 2018.
She was recently promoted to Chief Clinical Officer in January 2023. Dr. Singleton does local and national speaking engagements and is currently engaged to be married in the fall of 2023.
