Enterprise Mobility-Funded Initiative Supports Local Affiliates in Building Stronger, Healthier Communities
Parents as Teachers National Center is excited to announce the 2025 recipients of its Investing in the Power of Families Challenge Grants, a competitive funding initiative made possible largely thanks to the continued investment from Enterprise Mobility. This initiative aims to bolster family support programs vital to community health and well-being.
Overview of the Challenge Grants
This year’s Challenge Grants, offered in increments of $10,000, $25,000, and $50,000, will empower Parents as Teachers affiliates across the nation to tackle pressing needs that families face today. They granted $525,000 in total awards. Key funding categories for 2025 include:
- Combating Maternal and Infant Mortality
- Family Leadership Development
- Workforce Development
- Program Quality Improvement
- Recruitment and Enrollment
- Community Responsiveness
- PBS Engagement
Impact of the Grants on Community Well-being
“Thanks to our ongoing partnership with Enterprise Mobility, and their recent 15 Million Dollar investment in our work, we are positioned to make a significant impact in communities nationwide,” said Constance Gully, President and CEO of Parents as Teachers. “These Challenge Grants highlight the importance of locally-driven innovation and strengthen the infrastructure needed to support family well-being, build resilient systems, and empower parent leadership.”
Over the past year, Parents as Teachers has seen these grants restore family enrollment numbers, expand access to mental and physical health supports, and enhance affiliates’ capacity to drive systemic change at the local level.
“As operating costs rise, family support programs are increasingly forced to choose between personnel and long-term community investment,” noted Kerry Caverly, Senior Vice President and Chief Program Officer. “This initiative gives affiliates the flexibility to address immediate family needs while also paving the way for a more sustainable and equitable future.”
A Holistic Vision for Family Engagement
Parents as Teachers recognizes that meaningful family engagement occurs when programs are equipped not just with trained professionals but with the necessary infrastructure that supports innovation, visibility within the community, and staff well-being. The 2025 Investing in the Power of Families Challenge Grants embody this holistic vision and reinforce our commitment to empowering families to thrive.
