2023 ANNUAL REPORT

Letter from Chair and President

Dear Friends,

We are pleased to share the Parents as Teachers National Center’s 2023 annual report. In so many ways, 2023 was an exceptional year for us. We took important measures to ensure continuous improvements in our work as we partner with parents on their journey to raise healthy and successful children.

This new year marks the 40th anniversary of Parents as Teachers. From a modest beginning in the early 80’s in Missouri, Parents as Teachers has grown to provide services that reach more than 180,000 families annually through a network of more than 1,000 family-serving organizations including those who utilize our research-informed curricula across the U.S. and worldwide.

Your continued support has made a real difference for Parents as Teachers and for our ability to positively impact the lives of the families, children, and communities where we serve. This past year has been an exciting one of growth and innovation.

Your continued support has made a real difference for Parents as Teachers and for our ability to positively impact the lives of the families, children, and communities where we serve. This past year has been an exciting one of growth and innovation.

Among the highlights of the year that are showcased in this report are that we:

• Expanded our model goals from four to seven to better reflect the impact of our work with families.

• Presented our annual professional development conference to a soldout audience.

• Received a $7 million gift from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, the largest in our organization’s history, which will allow us to invest in critical infrastructure that will support our sustainable growth and enhancement of services.

Your support has allowed us to innovate and grow and for that, we offer our sincere appreciation. Please take a moment to peruse our 2023 annual report.

We wish you good health and prosperity in the new year.

Sincerely,
