The Parents as Teachers National Center has once again been awarded a Top Workplaces honor by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper’s Top Workplaces program for 2022. The award is based solely on the feedback from a survey that Parents as Teachers staff completed.
“The majority of our 120 employees responded to the survey and I want to personally thank you for your participation, input, and confidence in our organization,” said PAT President and CEO Constance Gully.
Being named a Top Workplace is especially gratifying because only a select group of companies make the list. “I am honored, especially because the judges responsible for our placement among them were you, our employees,” Gully added.
The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers and aspects that are critical to the success of any organization. They include:
Align: Where the company is headed, its values, cooperation, effective meetings
Coach: Managers care about concerns, are helpful, encourage employee development
Connect: Employees feel appreciated, work is meaningful, working at full potential
Performance: Execution, open-mindedness, innovation, clued-in leadership
Engagement: Productivity, retention, recruiting
Leadership: Confidence in company leaders
The Basics: Pay, benefits, flexibility, training, expectations
