The Early Intervention Foundation in the United Kingdom has completed its re-evaluation of the country-wide Parents as Teachers program there and has upgraded its Evidence Rating to 3+ (from 2+). According to the best available evidence for this program’s impact, it can achieve the following positive outcomes for children:
- Preventing child maltreatment
- Enhancing school achievement and employment
- Preventing crime, and violence and anti-social behavior
- Preventing obesity and promoting healthy physical development
