Steven L. Harris, CPA, CGMA, serves as the Partner-In-Charge of the Entrepreneurial Services Group at RubinBrown LLP. With over 20 years of experience in public accounting, he concentrates on client account management, client relations, and provides accounting, tax, and consulting services.
Steven is responsible for leading the firm’s strategy to maximize operations and performance of Entrepreneurial Services Group across the Firm’s six offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver, Nashville, Las Vegas, and Chicago. Steven also serves as a Partner in RubinBrown’s Assurance Services Group serving a variety of clients in the not-for-profit, contractor, home-builder, entertainment, public sector, and manufacturing and distribution industries.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for NABA, Inc. In addition to his dedicated NABA service, Steven also serves as the Chair of the Regional Business Council’s Young Professional Network, a unique network that promotes the personal and professional development of over 4,200 ethnically diverse professionals under 45 working in the St. Louis region.
Steven has received numerous awards and recognition for his accomplishments. He received the Harvey Brown Founders Award and the Community Service Award from RubinBrown. Steven was honored with the prestigious Diverse Business Leaders and 30 Under 30 Awards from the St. Louis Business Journal.
He was recognized with the MSCPA Outstanding Leadership in Advancing Diversity Award and the National Association of Black Accountants’ Rising Star Award. He also received the first Outstanding Young Alumni Award from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
