CHALLENGE GRANTS 2026

With the continued, generous support from Enterprise Mobility, Parents as Teachers is again awarding $500,000 in programmatic grants to qualified and selected affiliates.

As with many family support programs, Parents as Teachers affiliates can find themselves using most of their operating dollars on personnel costs. As these costs continue to rise, affiliates may have to divert funding from needed infrastructure and longer-term investments, such as building parent leaders, supporting staff and family mental and physical health needs, staff professional development and community visibility building.

That’s why Parents as Teachers is pleased to announce the continuation of offering affiliates the opportunity to apply for the 2026 Challenge Grants. These one-time competitive grants* will be allotted in the following monetary increments; $5,000, $15,000, $25,000, and $50,000.

Affiliates can apply to use the funds in the following categories: Combatting Maternal and Infant Mortality, Family Leadership Development, Workforce Development, Program Quality Improvement, and Community Responsiveness.

The application portal will open on February 8, 2026, and applications must be submitted by March 8 at 11:59 p.m. CST.

The grant application will be available through the Good Grants platform. To create an account, visit Good Grants, enter your email address, and select “Forgot password.” You will receive an email with instructions to set up your account.

Please note that only one account per program is permitted.

*Past Challenge Grant awardees are not eligible to apply
