Getting Started with PAT Engage

PAT Engage offers a simple way to communicate, share resources, and connect with families. The sign-up process takes just a few minutes, and getting started is easy! Affiliates can explore features and begin using the app with confidence.

 

What Is PAT Engage?

PAT Engage is a secure platform that supports communication and connection with families in one place. Affiliates use the app to message families, share resources, and host virtual visits. You can access PAT Engage from any web browser or by downloading the mobile app on iOS or Android.

  • Stay connected: Send messages and share updates with families.
  • Share resources easily: Provide parent handouts, activity pages, and local information.
  • Personalize what you share: Add notes, comments, or audio clips to make information more meaningful and accessible for each family.
  • Host virtual visits: Use the built-in video feature.
  • Request signatures: Collect digital signatures on required forms.
  • Keep families informed: Schedule visits and send reminders for group connections, community events, and other important dates.

Ready to Start Using PAT Engage?

If you’re ready to get started, PAT Engage is available to explore! Affiliates can complete this form to request an invitation to access PAT Engage. All parent educators in your affiliate will receive the invitation email to get started.

 

Adoption and Implementation

To support affiliates as they get started with PAT Engage, the Model Implementation Workspace includes a variety of tools and resources to guide learning and use.

  • Staff Activity Page – Designed to help staff get familiar with PAT Engage and how it can support their work with families.
  • Welcome to PAT Engage Parent Handout – A simple way to introduce families to the platform.
  • Training Guides and Videos – Step-by-step instructions for both the mobile app and desktop versions.
  • Recorded Office Hours – Watch past sessions to hear insights from other affiliates and watch platform demos from Moxo, the developers of PAT Engage.
  • Testimonial Video – Learn how affiliates are using this tool to engage with families.

All resources can be found by logging into your Parents as Teachers ePortal and navigating to OLIVER > Model Implementation > PAT Engage.

In addition to these materials, you can also register for our upcoming PAT Engage Office Hours on the Model Implementation Workspace. These sessions offer a great opportunity to ask questions, explore features, and learn from real-time demonstrations. Be sure to register and join the conversation!

PAT Engage Satisfaction Survey

We invite parent educators and families to fill out our satisfaction survey for PAT Engage. Each response helps us improve PAT Engage to better serve you and the families you support. Please take a moment to complete our satisfaction survey and let us know what is working and what could be better. Parent educators and families can access the survey through this link.

Parents as Teachers National Center also added a Quick Link to the survey on the PAT Engage home screen that families will see when they log in. This Quick Link offers an easy way for families to find and complete the survey. During visits or through messages in the app, we encourage parent educators to share this Quick Link so families know the survey is available.
