Conference reflects 40 years of service, stellar speakers

Get ready for PATCON24, the Parents as Teachers International Conference, happening from October 14th to 17th at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina. This year’s theme is “Born to Learn – Power of the Past – Building for the Future.”

More than 2,000 early childhood experts will gather for four days of workshops, discussions, and networking focused on the latest trends and innovations in home visiting.

The conference will feature renowned speakers including Dr. Anton Treuer, a leading expert in Ojibwe Language and advocate for Indigenous Peoples, and Josh Shipp, an award-winning speaker and bestselling author.

Additionally, there will be a live podcast recording hosted by Rachel Giannini and Dr. Dipesh Navsaria, as well as a breakfast plenary moderated by Pete Weldy, a regional administrator for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
