2025 Annual Parents as Teachers Day at the Ballpark

Parents as Teachers celebrated twenty years of partnership with Washington University at the annual Parents as Teachers Day at the Ballpark at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Dean Dorian Traube of the Brown School of Washington University threw out the first pitch, joined on the field by Parents as Teachers President & CEO and National Director of Marketing & Communications, Constance Gully and Bart Holland.

Nearly 500 home visiting staff, supporters, families, and fans filled the stands in a special section designated to spotlight the work of Parents as Teachers. Attendees were treated not only to a commemorative T-shirt, a hot dog, and a soda, but they also scored the opportunity to see the Cardinals land a win.

In addition to highlighting the organization for the community, the game day also kicks off a week of meetings at the national headquarters of Parents as Teachers, as state and country leaders gather for a two-day summit followed by the annual in-person all-staff meeting days for the Parents as Teachers National Center.
