Board Chair and President’s letter
Dear Parents as Teachers Supporters,
For the staff of Parents as Teachers, 2022 was a year of responding to the needs of each other and the families we served. By listening to our partners and stakeholders, utilizing our data analysis and research, and incorporating feedback from our staff, caregivers, and board of directors, we kept a pulse on our service delivery method to ensure that we are making a positive impact on people’s lives.
Since the early 1980s, Parents as Teachers has been a top provider of early childhood home visiting services to families with young children. We uphold parents and caregivers as their child’s first and most influential teachers.
We do this through a unique approach that allows us to partner, facilitate and reflect at every level of our organization — from a parent educator visiting a family in their home to the work of the National Center. In this annual report, you will learn about the ways in which that approach positively impacts the lives of the families we serve.
As the communities with families Parents as Teachers serves evolve, so has Parents as Teachers. Last year, the organization underwent an imaging facelift to refine its brand to support future growth plans and a rising need to clarify messaging in the marketplace.
The branding initiative includes a new logo which represents the organization’s work to actively engage a diverse group of families, a redesigned website that includes a program locator where families can enter their cities or zip codes to find programs in their area, and collateral materials that inform and support a comprehensive package of programs and services.
Moving forward, Parents as Teachers remains diligent in providing services that reach and impact more than 200,000 children through a network of close to one thousand children and family-serving organizations.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and our resolute staff, we thank you for your continued interest in our organization and your ongoing investment in Parents as Teachers and the communities where we partner.
We hope that you enjoy this annual report. All the best to you and yours in 2023!
Sincerely,

Dr. Mark Ginsberg
