Youth Opportunity Program (YOP) Tax Credit Information

If you pay Missouri state taxes and make a gift of $1,000 or more to Parents as Teachers National Center, you are eligible to receive a 50% tax credit on your taxes. Here’s how it works:

The Youth Opportunity Program (YOP), administered by the Missouri Department of Economic Development, provides tax credits to individuals or organizations administering positive youth development projects. All individuals, LLCs, partnerships, banks or corporations with Missouri tax liability are eligible for the program.

YOP donations are used to help fund our local community impact efforts, enabling Parents as Teachers National Center (PATNC) to offer evidenced-based home visiting and parent education to high-needs families within the Normandy Schools Collaborative footprint and to teen mothers and fathers in North St. Louis County, St. Louis City and Greene County, Missouri.

Ever wonder how our tax credits work? If you are in the 35% federal tax bracket and make a minimum gift of $1,000 to PATNC:
