Supervisor’s Toolbox: Using the Supervisor’s Handbook for Quality Implementation

Parents as Teachers Community of Practice
August 13 – October 22
Registration now open in O.L.I.V.E.R.

Parents as Teachers provides multiple tools to equip the supervisor in their role to implement the evidence-based model with fidelity and quality, and to support the growth of their staff. The Supervisor’s Toolbox: Using the Supervisor’s Handbook for Quality Implementation is a six session community of practice for supervisors, designed to provide an opportunity for supervisors to explore and practice the application of the tools found in the Supervisors Handbook, while engaging in peer discussions around their experiences.

This community of practice will begin August 13 and will meet virtually for six sessions, every other Tuesday at 12:00 CDT, ending October 22.

Participants will:

  • increase their knowledge and skill level related to the implementation tools in the Supervisor Handbook

  • make meaningful application of the implementation tools to their practice

  • deepen their understanding of the connection between the use of the tools, data monitoring and the impact on quality

Registration is now open and can be accessed in O.L.I.V.E.R. under Supervision and Leadership. Registration will be limited to 16 participants. Supervisors must have completed Foundational and Model Implementation training. Video capabilities for virtual meetings is required.

Parents as TeachersNational Center is excited about the variety of learning opportunities that we are able to provide through O.L.I.V.E.R. A second community of practice, Reflective Supervision Toolkit: The Why, What and How of Reflective Supervision, will be available for supervisors later this year.
