Public Website Updates
We are excited to announce that our website has been refreshed and is live! The updated site includes changes to navigation, with drop-down menus. The way the content is displayed has been improved, so you will get more information from a quick glance. There are much smaller but impactful changes to make your experience navigating the Parents as Teachers public website site better and more straightforward.
When we started this project, we had big ideas, from updating messaging to helping users get from one place to the next without skipping our most relevant content. Our solution was to split our site content into two locations. We now have two distinct areas, which are “content for professionals” and “general information.”
The “content for professionals” area is located in the top navigation, in the blue bar. It includes training and curricula, information about affiliation and our evidence-based model, research and quality improvement results. It also has links for professionals to the Parents as Teachers eBusiness Portal (and other resources accessed with your Portal login).
If you would like to know more about what we do, our “general information” pages can help. Whether you are looking for the latest news, examples of how Parents as Teachers programs impact communities in the U.S. and around the world, upcoming events, or just how to make a donation, that information is still available and only a single click away.
We have also created a host of new graphics, published a gallery's worth of images, and included a few updates that have made the site more comfortable to use.
As we begin using this new website, we hope that you will find it easier to navigate. Our goal was to ensure that it aligns with our mission, vision, and values as we embark upon the future. Make sure to check back, as we continue to add to, update, and improve the website regularly.
